Pimenta Síria (Syrian Pepper) is a traditional Middle Eastern restaurant in Sao Paulo with homemade recipes passed through generations.
The values of Arabic culture are unique, and my mission was to develop a new visual identity that showed elements of this tradition.
I developed a symbol inspired by decorative elements and Arabic geometrical patterns, which in conjunction with the color palette and chosen typography, alludes to Arabic culture and has strong recognition from the restaurant’s clientele.
The use of color in contrast to the chosen typographies well reflects the cultural aspect of the brand, resulting in a complete visual identity with a strong appeal to Arabic culture. The responsive logo and its lockouts are also easily adaptable to both print or digital media.
